Mira Hayek is a Beirut-based, ready-to-wear designer. She studied graphic design at the Lebanese American University in Beirut before beginning her formal industry training in Milan where she studied fashion design at the famed Istituto Marangoni. She went on to pursue her masters degree in fashion and textile design at the renowned Istituto Europeo di Design.
After interning at the ateliers of Elie Saab in Beirut and Erdem in London, Mira Hayek was selected by the Starch Foundation to launch her first ready-to-wear collection in 2011.
The Mira Hayek brand stands out for its strong, graphic aesthetic and youthful spirit. Loose silhouettes, geometric patterns, and texture combinations are key elements in Hayek’s designs, which make for comfortable, playful pieces. The label is dedicated to providing dynamic women with contemporary clothes that have a sporty edge.
